Dare To Dream - I think so many of us feel we can't dream something better into our lives, follow our dreams, or create a better world. Owl is a being of transformation, and flew into my dreams daring me to not give up on them. Unframed, this sells for $775 and is a mixed media painting on 22X30 Arches Paper.

Spirit Messenger - They say that the Golden Eagle flies the highest, and thus carries our Prayers up to Spirit. For me this painting is a symbol of change and hope and compassion...which we can create through our prayers, thoughts and dreams. The original sells for $775 unframed and is mixed media on 22X30 Arches Paper.

Wanbli Witko - I am calling this painting Wanbli Witko, which means Crazy Eagle in Lakota, for a very specific reason. Actually Witko has been translated to mean "crazy", but what it really means is filled with an immense power that not many people can comprehend. This Eagle was hit by a car, and his wing and beak were broken. He was very dignified, and powerful. It was an honor to be in his presence. The original is not for sale.

Istazi - We were driving out to Hovenweep when I saw a bird hanging upside down from a barbed wire fence. I told Bill to stop and back up. We did, and Bill said he was dead. At that moment, Istazi turned his head and looked at us. We couldn't get out of the truck fast enough and over to him. His wing was stuck on the fence, so we had to cut him free. We wrapped him up in our leather jackets, and drove over 100 miles back home so Mark could work on him. He slept on my lap for those 100 miles with his wings draped over my legs. It was an amazing experience, and his Golden Eyes go with me everywhere. That is what Istazi means in Lakota. Unfortunately, he didn't make it, but his Spirit lives on. The original is in the Wildcat Gallery in Telluride, CO.
