Sales
I am doing a yard sale selling some of my artwork at half off.

Together - This is the second painting of tigers...maybe will become a series. When I was at the MGM, I felt like they were challenging me to paint them, to get the message out about the loss of habitat and loss in numbers in the wild. From our ancient societies, lions are guardians of the passageway to the realm of power and wisdom. They guard the gate from that separates the sacred from the profane, the sanctuary from the outer world, and the living from the dead. This paitning is oil pastel on 18X24 Arches Paper. This normally sells for $500, but I am selling it for $275. If you wish to make payments, please let me know, and we can work something out.

Tortuga - This is a painting that i did of Green Sea Turtles, which are endangered. A turtle is the logo for my company, and when I was a little girl, I was told a story about turtles. We had just gone through a big earthquake, and a Hopi elder told me to not be scared because, "The Turtles that the land sits upon are just moving around." For some reason, this brought me a lot of comfort. Turtles are strong, calming. When we were in Vegas at Shark Reef, everyone was watching the sharks except for me. I kept looking into the blue for the Turtles. They bring me such peace...I'm not sure I captured it, but it is how it felt watching them. This normally sells for $350 unframed, but I will sell it unframed for $175.

Istazi - We were driving out to Hovenweep when I saw a bird hanging upside down from a barbed wire fence. I told Bill to stop and back up. We did, and Bill said he was dead. At that moment, Istazi turned his head and looked at us. We couldn't get out of the truck fast enough and over to him. His wing was stuck on the fence, so we had to cut him free. We wrapped him up in our leather jackets, and drove over 100 miles back home so Mark could work on him. He slept on my lap for those 100 miles with his wings draped over my legs. It was an amazing experience, and his Golden Eyes go with me everywhere. That is what Istazi means in Lakota. Unfortunately, he didn't make it, but his Spirit lives on. This sells unframed for $1,000, but I will sell it for $500.

Oso de mis Suenos - Oso de mis Suenos - I dreamt of this bear several times in my dreams, and I kept seeing myself painting him. I kept having the dream until pastel touched paper and let hime come forward. This is mixed media on 14X20 Arches Paper. This is on sale for $200.

Sacred Life - This is purely an emotional painting expressing my feelings about my relationship with Spirit. I will let the image express itself to you. This usually sells for $150 unframed, but the sale price is $75.

Sitting Bull - Sitting Bull has visited my paintings four times now, and this one seems the closest to what He wanted me to paint. When I look at this painting, I see the sadness he felt at surrendering his way of life, but I also see the pride and strength of His Spirit..The original unframed sells for $400 and is mounted onto acid free foam board. The sale price is $200.
